Illinois Freedom Caucus wants ethics investigation over voting ‘shenanigans’ – Center Square

Late Friday, March 24, the Illinois House was in the process of voting on one of the dozens of bills passed that day. Some Republicans noticed Democrats not at their seats despite their votes being counted. “You aren’t going to use parliamentary tricks,” state Rep. Dan Caulkins said after the vote on a bill dealing with generic drug pricing regulations. “This is a bill that is going to have a huge implication on this state.”

CrapFax commenters accused the Freedom Caucus of, essentially, procedural terrorism, by requiring Democrat representatives be physically present on the floor to vote. They suggested that Democrats remove the rule that Democrats appear on the floor to take a vote, and just let others vote for them, so that the Democrat Party can just pass all of the bills it wants, without even needing the elected members of the General Assembly to vote themselves.

I tried reading the CrapFax on a regular basis a few years ago and had to stop after a few months because it was too depressing and infuriating.

The people at the CrapFax are hard left wokesters, tolerate and even embrace corruption as just a way of life in Illinois politics, and don’t tolerate dissent.

The people and culture at the CrapFax are exactly what you would expect from a group of people allowed to rule unilaterally for decades with no serious opposition or checks and balances.

The CrapFax crowd are the personification of how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
