Illinois gas prices remain among nation’s highest as another tax hike nears – Axios

Governors in neighboring states, including Indiana and Kentucky, have recently suspended gas taxes to offer drivers temporary relief. Illinois isn't following suit — at least not yet. Gov. JB Pritzker appears focused on passing his proposed budget before the legislative session ends this month.

Then there’s the idiot in the article that says he saved by getting an electric vehicle. Has anyone seen electricity prices lately? And they’re scheduled to go higher as Pritzker energy policy closes more fossil plants.

Electric cars are the future like it or not. Electric cars use energy at about a 80% efficiency, wear as gas is only about 25%. China produces some great electric cars that the whole world is getting but America. 100% tariffs are on their cars to protect the American Auto Industry, not the American Consumer. Mark probably sees them in the Ukraine right now.

Cut a tax in Illinois, it’s always good to have a dream.
