Most of the fires are caused be space heaters. People use them to dry their clothes and also put them right next to curtains. Also they use extension cords which should not be used. Every time I hear of a house or apartment fire its always a space heater. Smoke detectors will not help with stupidity. Working CO2 detectors is a good idea.
Now the fat man can take smoke detectors out of his mansions, declare them uninhabitable and not pay taxes
How many political patronage jobs will be created to start the “Smoke and Fire Detector Compliance Squad”. Useless law created and passed because the “usual” people constantly steal the batteries out of current models. I needs dat batry!!! More issues, more expense created because of a certain segment of the population
