Illinois lawmaker introduces bill that could hinder Chicago Bears’ move to suburb – Chicago Tribune/Yahoo

State Rep. Kam Buckner’s bill would require, among other things, that any subsidies received by teams be repaid with interest if a franchise fails to meet its commitments or relocates. In addition, under Buckner’s proposed legislation, sports franchises would instead have to reimburse schools, libraries and emergency services for property taxes lost as a result of stadium agreements.

Sorry, Chicago is a corrupt cesspool, and they are moving. Instead of using Soldier Field for soccer, they’re going to build a new stadium?! Not too bright.
