Illinois lawmakers fail to pass Bears bill despite goal line push – Capitol News IL

House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch believes the legislature will tackle the stadium question “sooner than later,” but not in a special session. But in a statement released minutes later, the Bears said they have no plans to adjust their timeline for deciding on a future home.

Soldier Field is good enough. The rent is cheap, and the city will renew the lease. Kevin Warren is completely incompetent and should be fired. Too bad he just bought a house.

If you are looking at the stadium as a CEO and CFO – there is nothing in Illinois to make you stay here. The sheer incompetence of illinois legislature would make the Indiana move the clear choice. If they can’t make that call, they deserve all the hell coming to them by staying in the dysfunctional utopia called Illinois.

No rush…this new budget you jackasses just passed already increases taxes on the Illinois resident. This bears bill will only make that worse. I wonder if they purposely delayed including it in this budget because it was no financially damaging…this way, they can sneak it through later as a win…manipulation, crooks and grifters. The honest conservative tax payer in Illinois has no representation in Illinois State Government.
