A virtual power plant is not your typical building or single power plant. Energy experts said it’s a combination of small battery systems that would actually be installed directly in your home.
As long as NO TAXPAYERS DOLLARS ARE INVOLVED !!! They always low ball the costs and then it ends up double , triple or even more in the end .

This is another really dumb idea by the
Albert Einsteins in Springfield. The homeowner
takes all the risk, maintaining the panels
on the roof, maintaining the batteries, added
homeowners insurance, are these systems UL
approved. This and additional safety measures
not addressed. All this for what some small
discount from the utility, who has control of
the system in YOUR home.
Let the buyer beware!

I’ve got a much more practical idea I know wil work to lower costs and generate power, and will work fast – Remand the CEJA. No taxpayer subsidy required either for some far fetched completely unproven idea. Ooops, I guess that was the whole point for Democrats.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
