If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
First they left law abiding citizens without adequate security, now it’s the governments own employees and yet we keep electing them.

The post office should pay for FOID, CCL, and arm the postal carriers willing to protect themself.
If not call 911 like the rest of the suckers.
As Chicago crime twitter personality Spot News points out, that concealed weapon ain’t going to help you when the perp pulls his gun on you first, and the per is just gonna steal your gun too. CCL has it’s place but an armed mail carrier walking around with a 30lbs bag of mail isn’t going to be able to access his/her piece fast enough to defend himself/herself against a twitchy teenage perp with an autoclip and a quick trigger.
