Illinois Senate starts appropriation process to address growing debt in unemployment insurance fund – WGEM (Quincy)

The bill appropriates $2 billion from American Rescue Plan funds to address the deficit in the unemployment fund. State Sen. Linda Holmes said this isn’t the final version or amount of the bill.
