Illinois Supreme Court weighs challenge to state gun restriction – Capitol News IL

At issue is whether state laws governing the possession of firearms conflicts with the latest U.S. Supreme Court standard on the Second Amendment, which says laws that limit a person’s right to bear arms must be consistent with the nation’s “historical tradition of firearm regulation.”

It’s the Un-convicted who should not have guns.
But, rounding them up and giving criminals their do is too hard for the Democrat politicians of Illinois. Exactly why democrats dislike ICE. Illinois politicians support crime and criminals over the peoples and businesses safety.

I think people should lose their Right To Keep and Bear Arms when they are convicted of a felony.

Capitol News wrote that the plaintiff, James Benson, was convicted of a felony in 2015 for breaking gun laws. Then on Christmas Eve in 2021, he or his girlfriend fired a gun in the midst of an argument.

There should be strong penalties for breaking the law.
