The report argues that noncitizens are employed at a slightly higher rate than the adult population as a whole in Illinois, so providing that group with health coverage promotes a healthier and more productive labor force.

Yes, people with good health insurance tend to be more productive and, you know, healthier. That’s why us citizens pay an arm and a leg to have such plans.

Immigrant ( illegal alien) advocates just can’t get enough off the fact that people working off the grid are reaping the benefits that the legitimately employed pay for, tenfold. To them that’s a victory, not the pocket picking of the taxpayers it truly is.
