Counties can declare themselves “non-sanctuary” in sanctuary state of Illinois?? “The county’s emergency migrant plan came on the heels of a resolution, passed two weeks ago, that declared Grundy, population nearly 53,000, a “non-sanctuary county for immigration.” I believe “resolution” is non-binding, but where’s Kwame??? But the bigger issue, it seems with Chicago, municipalities & counties recent attempts to regulate bussing of “new arrival” migrants and put up signs in Grundy county, etc is these attempts may run afoul or skirt fine line of States own sanctuary Illinois Trust Act & Voice Act laws.
