The company’s decision, Ted says, was likely driven by the city’s growing crime, high taxes and political dysfunction. At least in 1968 those hippies were against the war and against the draft. In retrospect, I might have been a hippy back then too if it meant being shipped off to fight some stupid foreign war for useless Democrat presidents. Yet, they still all voted Democrat. Never forget, it was Nixon that ended the Democrat’s draft and no Democrat today ever gives him credit for that. I’m not really sure what Democrats are going to riot about in 2024.
