Ald. Bob Fioretti of the city's 2nd Ward ward took to Twitter to express his concern over the violent weekend in Chicago: “No more excuses from our political leaders. Time to stop the violence. From Sunday 6/21 to Saturday 6/27, 150 people shot, 24 fatally, in Chicago.”
It’s as though they could use someone who can protect them. That person would have to be armed, of course, since the bad guys are, too. That person should also wear a uniform to identify him/her so the people would know who to go to. If only such a person existed….
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
