I’m sure that the ABC7, a dues paying member of the Useless Chicago Media, made mention of the speed at which these type of ridiculous injunctions get overturned. Oh…wait…true to form for a UCM member, it slipped their mind.

Mister Gettleman is a Clinton appointee acting fidelis formae to what is expected of a liberal lawyer receiving an appointment from a Democrat. Reason be damned.

No cable tv included? What an oversight on the part of Judge Gettleman.

The Preamble of the Constitution provides as follows:
“WE the PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty TO OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Emphasis added.
With that in mind, how is it possible that the Constitution affords any protection to foreign nationals who are in the country ILLEGALLY?

Due Process and the Courts – American Immigration Council

The American Immigration Council is hardly a disinterested source. Their reliance upon the 14th Amendment (1868) to suggest that illegal aliens are entitled to due process protection does not stand up to scrutiny. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was promulgated by Congress and ratified by the States to formalize the status of former slaves, particularly those residing in the former Confederacy, as full fledged citizens of the U.S. There is NOTHING in the text of the Amendment nor in its legislative history that compels the conclusion that it was intended to cover illegal aliens. It is illogical and absurd… Read more »

Ah yes, judges. Especially in Illinois. The D & F law school students whose Daddies “donated” their way through law school and into the judiciary. Can you say moronic political whores?

Ridiculous. They should be allowed to speed up the deportations then because they didn’t have anything when they barged across the border.

ICE has to be ordered by the courts to be humane to people. America just got a black eye. This does not make “America Great Again”, it’s shameful behavior. Satan will have a lot of new residents in the future.

A rational state government that really wanted to help would offer to review each detainee’s case, and for those who actually represent a threat take them into the State prison system. For those not a threat, release them and require them to appear at a certain future date. (Of course some would fail to appear, but they’re not threats.) But that’s for a rational state government, and would require federal cooperation, so not feasible. What’s actually going to happen, in ten or twenty years, is amnesty for illegals who haven’t gotten into trouble and can prove how long they’ve been… Read more »

Per Alan Dershowitz, all these illegals can be deported immediately and then given the option of a court hearing via Zoom if they want to contest their deportation, from the county they are deported to, most likely their home country.
This is the perfect solution because 99% of the deportees will not challenge their deportations because they know they were in the USA illegally.
Done.

Jesus, now they’ll never leave. Wait until they start sending the food back to the kitchen because it’s not to their liking as they did when being put up in NYC hotels the average working American citizen couldn’t afford to stay in.
