Judge says Chicago city workers have no constitutional right to spurn vaccinations – Cook County Record

"The core flaw with Plaintiffs’ claim that refusing vaccination is a fundamental right, then, is not that there is no privacy interest implicated when someone is required or coerced to take a vaccine that they do not want. There certainly is. Rather, the problem is that, when a person’s decision to refuse a vaccine creates negative consequences (even life-threatening at times) for other people, that interest is not absolute," Judge John Z. Lee concluded in his opinion.

I have to believe this will eventually apply to everyone…

Eventually, this will have to come before the USSC….

This judge forgot to include that the Supreme Court ruling was against smallpox, of which there was no other alternative, and the deaths did not seem to be controllable by any means. This is a far cry from the mrna-based shot that still allows vac’d people to get sick. Clearly it does not need to be implemented far and wide, for a virus that HAS A 99% RECOVERY RATE. Unlike the smallpox, there are many alternatives to the current pharma one-size-fits-all approach. This is not constitutional, but again, it is Illinois, so guess that explains it.

Wonder where this judge stands on the balanced budget amendment? I wonder where this judge stands on the first amendment? I wonder where this judge stands on the second amendment. I wonder where this judge stands on the third amendment? (If this is a war, isn’t a forced vax the same as forced quartering of soldiers?) I wonder where this judge stands on the fourth amendment? I wonder where this judge stands on the fifth amendment? Sixth? Seventh? And on and on. .every American has the right to life, Liberty , and the persuit of happiness. . .unless you are… Read more »

According to this logic (meme’d extensively) this is the first product that is ineffective because lab rats won’t take it.

Judge Lee’s argument, that the potential of danger to others overrides individual rights, seems to me to be an argument that local government can mandate vaccines for all. I am not a lawyer, but I don’t see how this makes the argument for vaccines as a condition of employment. If the unvaccinated employee is a danger to others, how is he less dangerous after losing his job?

“the potential of danger to others overrides individual rights” The potential danger to others relies on misinformation and lies spread by Pfizer and the CDC. When the premise that “vaccination protects other people” is accepted without question, then this result in inevitable from a liberal judge. OTOH, I saw a judicial opinion in another state that struck down vax mandates, and the judge said that the vaccine doesn’t stop infection, it doesn’t stop the spread, it doesn’t reduce viral loads, and at best, it confers a less severe case for a few months after the injection, and now requires never… Read more »

Hey y’all, I wasn’t advocating mandates. I was just trying to point out that the judge’s logic in defending them failed, because mandates are indefensible. Should have made that clear.

Prove the shots work and are actually a real “vaccine” first, until then it’s all B.S. political theater. The fact there’s zero liability tells me all I need to know. This judge should be in line after Fauci and the rest of the cabal at the gallows. Time’s coming…

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
