The same week a couple was attacked and the woman lost her baby. The assailants were only charged with a misdemeanor. Why should a big gulp justify a felony?
Felony charges pursued by a woman that once termed thugs shooting it out at each other in the street during broad daylight “ mutual combat “ and pressed no charges. This Soros funded Marxist refused to prosecute any person of color during her reign of terror, “restorative justice “ term but certainly got worked up enough over a root beer.
This guy was egregiously overcharged solely because of her job at the time, and for the same reason was offered a horrible plea deal, and this is now wasting the courts time. That all aside, what ever happened with the domestic disturbance call her husband made. Was that all swept under the rug because of her job?
If she actually feared for her life she would have been walking on the sidewalk. I am a walker, and I do fear for my safety and would never walk on the street.
Probably you live in a neighborhood with good sidewalks. Many of us do not.

Incorporated in 1924 the community has ample sidewalks EVERYWHERE.
Not excusing Swetz. He has committed a MISDEMEANOR assault.
Just saying Foxx has no business walking in the street.
And as a LAWYER, and the chief PROSECUTOR for Cook County, she KNOWS that she shouldn’t walk in the street.
