Little Village residents organize citizens patrol to help protect street vendors – WGNTV (Chicago)

  According to Angel Valdes, a volunteer on the citizen patrol, it feels like he and others are making a difference, even if it may not be reflected in the latest police statistics. “What I do is drive by blow the horn and let them know I’m here,” Valdes said. “And they feel more comfortable.”

Just how stupid are these people. Pay for police protection, and don’t get what you paid for. Provide it yourself instead. Then re-elect the people who took your money but didn’t provide the service. Just shockingly stupid people.
