Man and his dog shot after telling driver to ‘slow down,’ police say – Chicago Sun-Times

The 50-year-old man was on his porch as he warmed up his car around 7:25 a.m. Tuesday when he yelled at a speeding red vehicle to “slow down,” according to Chicago police reports. The red vehicle then circled back around, and an armed individual opened fire, striking the man and his dog, police said. Eight spent shell casings were recovered from the scene.

Happy with the violent, uncivil and chaotic third world you were promised and voted for three times between 2008- 2020? Vote for more soft on crime, criminals as victims DSA’s for more. The Delia’s that consider themselves anything but American and the Sigaldo’s that can’t peddle Marxism fast enough are counting on you, IL.

I drove a neighbor to specialist physician on Chicago’s Northside on Wednesday from Frankfort. It was the first time in a decade that I actually drove through Chicago city streets. I was astounded by how drivers simply ignored traffic laws and controls like red lights and stop signs. I can’t imagine the bulk of these scofflaws carry insurance.

And that’s why people in Chicago live in fear. You can be shot for no reason or simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Random violence is so common. These killers have no impulse control and no remorse. Chicago has the most gang members of any city in the nation. Chicago’s soft-on-crime policies make things worse. And the news stories that end with NO ONE WAS IN CUSTODY. are too numerous to count.
