Man stabbed at River North CTA station – CWB Chicago

Just before midnight, the 37-year-old male victim was standing on the northbound platform at the Grand station, 521 North State Street, when the offender walked up to him and stabbed him in the left tricep, according to CPD.

CTA is in the process of wasting and stealing the $1.5B they stole from the people of Illinois. They haven’t got time to waste on safety…that person should have known better than to use CTA after midnight…sheesh. CTA should put signage up letting people know the lowest crime times so they can plan their day and when they might get attacked.

Where’s Captain Tio and the Violence Interruptors Brigade? On break, night off, where? Tio was just crowing the other day about how the transit system would be even worse without his cadre of intrepid crime fighters when he was making the case for their continued funding from the Feds. And has it ever been disclosed exactly how much the people in the yellow vests are paid, other than that millions of dollars have been allocated to the ineffective program? Midnight Basketball, anyone?
