Committees. PR campaigns. Meetings with “ community activists “ promising them an ongoing slice of the increasing social services pie. Press conferences packed with finger pointing and an occasional tear. All in lieu of any meaningful action being taken.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
