McHenry County residents may choose moving to Wisconsin over paying increased property taxes – Daily Herald

"We knew that people were being taxed out of their homes and that we had to do something," said McHenry County Board Chairman Jack Franks. "I begged the other taxing bodies to follow our example." In a few months since the pandemic began, McHenry County's unemployment rate has risen from around 4% to "over 12.5%," according to Franks.

It’s not only government it’s the damn school districts they are the main root of all evil. Almost 8% tax levy in romeoville for valley view school district 365 u. Greed that’s all it is greed, and Springfield is nothing but a bunch of lazy jackasses and work for the weasel aka (Madigan) . Puppets that’s all everyone of you are, Kuala Fran and Ollie have more sense than Springfield.

“Mueller said that on his property tax bill, which is now well over $11,000, he has 22 total taxing bodies listed, which includes nine pensions.” It just goes to show that even in Ruby Red areas of the state, the union machine politics out of Chicago and Springfield are so strong that there’s nothing anyone can do to stop the taxes. The entire state has been absorbed by the ‘Borg’ and there is no way to unassimilate. I knew the DEM total take over was going to happen.We left for a southern state and escaped in 8-2018.Dump your property and leave!If you stay every dime of equity will be in their pocket from your home.
