Chicago’s latest welfare program leaves 171,000 residents disappointed.

5,000 recipients x 12 months x $500 = $30,000,000. And that’s just for starters.

I wonder how many of the 176,000 applicants are bots. And, BTW, what kind of security will be in place to confirm that the 5,000 recipients are actually eligible for the program and receive the benefits?

And what about the administration costs?

Where is Chicago getting the $30 million PLUS for this social experiment?

You havent noticed but the city recently planted $20.00 bill trees in many parks. Cash will soon be available.

They are already on some list. All applicants will be closely screened to ensure they are on the friends and family list before awards are announced.

I’m wondering if there is any criminal background check for all household residents where a disbursement is made to anyone living there.

Zero reporting on what it will cost to administer this equity by lottery program/ joke? What a complete ethical/moral embarrassment as tia releases report stating each chicago taxpayer’s on the hook for rock bottom in nation $135,700 in debt
