I may stop by one of these locations in my car with an internal combustion engine when it is 10 below, and offer hot chocolate from a Thermos to any EV owner who looks to be freezing while waiting for an earlier arrival to unplug. Got to help the needy.

I know, I know that oil companies have been getting government subsidies for years. But my question is when will the state government build a gas station for drivers to use? When will Illinois set aside 23 million tax dollars to build those gas stations? The proper course of action would be, wait a minute, there is no proper course of action when it involves corruption, to have bids submitted by companies who want to build charging stations to make a profit not give them tax money to make a profit. The free market should be used not government markets.

Government didn’t build gas stations why do they pretend they will install charging stations.

Well at least those million EVs that Pritzker wants on Illinois roads by 2030 will have a whopping 182 spots to get a charge when the owners have 30 minutes to kill. Not to worry, there’s zero chance that there will be a million EVs in Illinois by then, unless they’re sitting in landfills after dealers can’t sell them. Nobody wants EVs anymore. Somebody should tell Pritzker.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
