New revenue bills may fill funding gaps for social services – WICS (Springfield)

The Illinois Revenue Alliance is made up of several organizations in the state...including labor unions like SEIU Healthcare Illinois, Chicago Teachers Union, and community and advocacy groups. Their mission is to advocate for programs to help low and moderate income families thrive. “We have to only raise taxes on the wealthiest individuals in the population,” their spokesman said.

“We have to only raise taxes on the wealthiest individuals in the population,” their spokesman said.”? Illinois has Already pushed out Ken Griffin/Citadel to Florida, losing 1% of IL’s tax base in the process. NY, CA and WA are finding out what happens when you think that the ““wealthiest individuals in the population,” are nothing more than an ATM machine. :-/
