Officials Pause Plan To Move Hundreds Of Migrants Into Vacant KMart On Southwest Side – Block Club chicago

The news comes after a tense few weeks in Woodlawn, where the city placed more than 100 migrants in a vacant school without support from the area’s alderman or neighbors. The city intends to use Wadsworth as a shelter for up to two years. Up to 250 single men and women will move in eventually.

This is interesting for two reasons. 1–why are these illegals detting taxpayer help when so many Chicagoans could use it? 2– Why is there a vacant KMart? Probably because the business environment in Chicago was so bad.
