It is amazing that the LEGAL taxpayers have to pay for the ILLEGALS. It is all most can do to pay for their own health insurance but JABBA, Madigan, Durbin and Duckworth all invite the illegals in on everyone else’s dime.

Raise the income tax to pay for the healthcare of 55,000 illegal immigrants? And Pritzker thinks other states should bail out Illinois? Pritzker and the Chicago Democrats are living in a fantasy land!

Lets see, “immigrants without legal status” means ILLEGAL ALIENS. Illinois is bankrupt how can the politicians justify giving free health care to those who are not even supposed to be here ? Guess what, who will pay for this? the IL taxpayers of course ! Do you get the suspicion that the Democrats running this state are more interested in ILLEGALS than the hard working US citizens who do not get such benefits ? I do….something smells rotten in Chicago and Springfield once again…

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
