I was wholeheartedly disappointed when I actually wasted my time listening to one of their podcasts. Clearly, they are in favor of CRT and the LGBTQ agenda. It was a WASTE of my time. Thanks, but no thanks.

If parents can form a group to fight back against these perceived injustices, why can’t they co-ordinate to fight back against unconscionable school spending which is stealing their children’s college savings accounts through extraordinarily high property tax rates and lost home value as a result?

Last night my wife was reading to me various “discussions” taking place on a Lockport news social media group over the district announcing mandatory masks. I’m not on social media. Wow the arguments taking place there, all from people at home not face to face. If this was face to face, it could get violent. I have no skin in the game, kids grown. But kids today are way behind academically and in their ability to relate to others outside their phones. 13 year olds live behind their phones watching free porn these days, date and marry later, and basically… Read more »

Just need to organize a “Take Off Your Mask Day”. If 1/2 the kids in school take off their masks they can’t kick them all out. Strength in numbers!

The teachers will just put them back on the students. Will only work if parents are in the classroom monitoring. You do not want to put your young children in that situation.

How many Illinois school districts are “pushing” CRT? I think it’s bullshit in general, but most of you “freedom fighter” out there don’t know what the hell it is, and actually want a sanitized version of American history and colonialism taught, and not the truth. If you study history, it is chock full of one group imposing its will 9n other groups, usually at the butt of a weapon or the threat of death. Just like other groups have done before, the white man came to the “new world”, liked what he saw, and went about systematically imposing his will… Read more »

You complain that those of us who object to CRT don’t even know what it is. Then within the same sentence you proceed to tell us what we “actually” want. Progressive hubris is pretty stunning. I don’t object to CRT because I want to sanitize history. History should be taught, warts and all, as it has been taught. Only the left is trying to erase the past. I object to any system of thought that divides people into groups labeled “oppressed” and “oppressors”. That believes babies are inherently racist. That believes everything revolves around skin color. That believes that children… Read more »

Chicago needs more champions of literacy like Willie Wilson – Wirepoints

It’s rare to see city leaders in Chicago take an open, unabashed stance on the collapse of literacy. To complain is deemed as too political, too racist or too anti-public schools. So it’s refreshing to see Willie Wilson, a successful businessman and leader of the black community, call for a literacy initiative “with the goal of getting 100% of Black students reading at grade level.”

To tell media students to “advocate for emotions, not the facts” is dangerous for society – Wirepoints on with Jeff Daly of WZUS Decatur Radio

Ted joined Jeff Daly to discuss the university student protests erupting across the nation on the Israel/Palestine conflict, why it’s so dangerous for society if the media abandons facts in favor of narratives, why that allows government to spin away the problems like crime and financial crises, why it causes the voting public to become apathetic, and more.
