Pastor Brooks scores $8 million private donation to combat Chicago crime, encourage economic opportunity – FOX News

As part of Brooks’ fundraising campaign, the pastor lived on a roof for the better part of a year. The effort was originally supposed to last 100 days — including through Chicago’s bitter winter — but it ended up persisting for 345 days as Brooks fought to reach the $30 million goal. There, he conducted daily sermons  his Rooftop Revelations.

Brooks seems to make some sense. Although I know little about him…

Call me naive, but I’m going to believe in Pastor Brooks and his mission – unless/until I’m proven wrong.

I don’t know if he’ll accomplish his goals, but at least he’s trying.

Is he? His own son was recently arrested with magic mushrooms and the passenger in his car had a loaded gun, and there was a strong odor of cannabis in the car. Supposedly, his son was home for Thanksgiving Break from Morehouse college. Cost of tuition: $49,799 per year.

Brooks should hire the gangs to protect the citizens. The Chitty of cops certainly will not.

For doing such a good job Brooks is buying new Cadillacs for all the cops. They deserve it because it’s a long drive to Punta Gorda Florida
