Pritzker wants to change the 1998 Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act which bans discrimination based on refusal to receive or participate in healthcare services that are in any way or form contrary to one’s conscience. This law has been used by people to avoid Pritzker’s executive order mandating the covid vaccine or regular covid testing for healthcare workers, educators, and state employees.
