A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

The Illinois Tollway system is probably the most corrupt agency in Illinois. Patronage appointments, clout heavy in every section, not responsible to anyone except tollway officials and mired in a history of corruption and controversy.
