Proposed Illinois law would expand access to solar power to people who can’t install rooftop panels – CBS2 (Chicago)

The bill would allow renters and currently unqualified home owners to use panels designed to be connected to an electrical system through an existing outlet, placed on a balcony, patio, yard or porch, primarily intended to offset energy consumption.

Who is responsible for any damage to the electrical system . You know they will try to steal the panels like they did with smoke detector batteries.

If this passes we will soon see state taxpayers paying for the $1,500 solar panels “the poor” can’t afford to purchase on their own. And soon after that we will see the panels broken, discarded, or not plugged in.
