Protesters march in the Loop as Chicago Board of Ed mulls contract with CPD – WGNTV (Chicago)

Later Wednesday, the Chicago Teachers Union will hold a caravan and march. They’re calling on Mayor Lori Lightfoot to provide adequate cleaning for schools, as well as calling on the school board to pull police out of schools. They want the money to be allocated to measures that make schools safer for students.

Thank god I don’t go downtown anymore. Who wants to go downtown when this is happening. It’s impossible to get any work done in the office when people are banging drums and screaming.

interestingly enough, no cops in schools will make schools even easier targets for the mass *always* Democrat mass shooters. They’re always democrats or have democrat parents.

CPS is $25 billion in debt. Any money saved from firing school police will be used to pay off some of those markers. Any union type who doesn’t get that better not think about cosigning a student loan for their kid. I saw this funny piece from the Philly Inq. The City Council backed off from defunding their police dept.

Ctu is suddenly concerned about removing cops from schools as a student safety issue when they can smell getting thier hands on some of that $33 mil contract. But have no interest student safety in protesting to purge there own ranks or other cps employees of creeper pedophiles (per trib series)..why is jadin cho still in charge of cps security?
