Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
What is the delusion you speak of, exactly, The Truth Hurts? Biden is a criminal and a traitor. And he did not legitimately win an election by any stretch. Whether he is installed is a different question, but speak plainly.
Sounds like Obstruction of Justice to me
Biden will not be president. He will be lucky to avoid Gitmo.
Nice alternative reality you’ve created. Wednesday January 20th is going to be a tough day for you.
There are tens of millions of Americans preferring to live in Fantasyland these days. Apparently us is now down, and down is now up, and countless Americans will fight to the death with such beliefs. Have we ever seen a period of such truly massive self-delusion in our lifetimes? President Trump has caused Bizarro World here in America big time. Now, let the self-delusional masses here weigh-in as I’m quite sure will be the case.
The voters who believed that Biden is a viable President are the delusional ones. I don’t believe the election will be overturned, but the Biden voters may wish it were once they live with the results of their vote. Time will tell. I guess I am a member of your “self-delusional masses”.
I have no problem with your opinion Prozac. Many Presidents turn out to disappoint the very people who put them in office and Biden may be no different. My issue is that we now have a large chunk of society that is so disconnected from reality that they actual still think Biden isn’t the next president. These are people that can’t process logical arguments but yet are the loudest with their ignorant opinions.
The left hurled baseless claims at Trump right from the start. They never let up, despite a 2 year and tens of millions of dollars poured into an FBI investigation that found nothing. Then they impeached him based on a phrase spoken in a phone call. Oh, and while impeachment was proceeding, the flu was coming in from China. Trump stopped Chinese travel and Pelosi went to Chinatown in SF and mocked him. So did Biden. Then they said he was too slow in reacting. We are not in Fantasyland. We know what the hell went on, and we are… Read more »
You seem to have me confused with a Biden supporter. Please learn to read and comprehend the written word. I am pointing out the irrational behavior of people that can’t accept that Biden is their next President. Just because I didn’t vote for Biden doesn’t make it any less true. It’s ok to be frustrated with the outcome but it’s not acceptable to be delusional. Otherwise you are no better than the lunatics on the left that didn’t think Trump won in 2016 or Bush in 2000. Also, the words you wrote are nothing more than random complaints about how… Read more »
“I am pointing out the irrational behavior of people that can’t accept that Biden is their next President.” The example I use is that Biden’s election is a dumpster fire, with lots of smoke coming out of it. There’s no visible flames, which is fraud itself, just lots and lots of smoke, indicating massive fire inside the dumpster: ~The entire concept of a bellwether county collapsing (Trump won 16/17) ~Biden having 80,000,000 votes, more votes than any candidate in the history of the United States, even more than Obama’s 2008 landslide ~27/27 of toss up seats went R, and Republican… Read more »
Now that the Supreme Court has spoken debtsor will you acknowledge that it’s delusional to think Biden won’t be the next President? If people can’t admit it now then when? Or are they just like the nut jobs that said Bush didn’t win in 2000?

Don’t worry, when the House goes completely Republican in 2022, in the famous words of Rep. Talib (D-MI), we will “Impeach the M*****r F****r!”
“My issue is that we now have a large chunk of society that is so disconnected from reality that they actual still think Biden isn’t the next president.” No court wants to address this issue – and the one judge in PA who did got shot down by the appellate court within hours. No one wants to get anywhere near this dumpster fire of a fraudulent election and rightfully so. It’s not over until this hits the supreme court. And then it might be over. It’s not disconnected from reality, its fighting with everything we’ve got. Even if Biden is… Read more »
Hey debtsor! Where have you been? I have not made any comments on ballot stuffing or any other forms of suspected cheating. My comment started to Chump above because he stated Biden will not be next President and will likely end up at Gitmo. Delusions are unshakable beliefs of something untrue. Anyone that thinks Biden is not the next President of the United States meets this definition and is delusional. Had Chump merely stated that he thought Trump was cheated in the election I would have said nothing. I would have viewed that as political. There’s a difference. Will the… Read more »
“Will the Supreme Court touch this?” No, they already denied it. It’s not delusional to believe he won’t be president. He’s fighting with everything he’s got against the fraud and no one with any power to affect the outcome wants to get near this dumpster fire. Any honest person understands the fraud. As for Trump taking a second oath? it’s not looking good, I’ll admit that. The only real option left is a civil war and I’m too old to fight in that. I’ll just settle for a 51-49 senate and 8 hours a day of conservative talk radio. As… Read more »
You’re acting delusional. It’s that simple. It makes every political argument you make from here on out less believable. Biden is the President-elect. I did not vote for him but unlike you and the other lunatics I can accept reality. The only difference between you and the other nut jobs is that you at least realize you have a form of derangement syndrome. The first step to recovery is admitting your problem. I have read plenty of your other posts to know that you are an intelligent person. Don’t let your emotion get the better of your logic. Otherwise you… Read more »
He’s no president-elect until after the electoral college vote on Monday, big guy. Until then, he’s just a cheater.
Boo hoo. Biden’s a cheater mommy. That’s what you sound like. He won. He will be inaugurated on January 20th. If it makes you feel better to believe he’s not the President-elect until Monday then have at it.
He’s YOUR President on January 20th. All of your complaining will not change that. All of your attempts to delegitimize will fall flat without the help of the media. Good luck!!!
“All of your attempts to delegitimize will fall flat without the help of the media. Good luck!!!” Apparently you don’t remember 2010 through 2016, when 0zero was cuckholded to ineffective executive orders and droning US citizens abroad. Heck, even Ted Cruz singlehandedly shut down the government for a few months, and, no one even noticed, or remembered, despite the media’s Outrage, and 0zero’s finger waving. The thing about the media is they are practically impotent, they only speak in their own echo chamber, as a lot of the country has just straight up tuned them out already. Republicans form a… Read more »
The bigger purpose of the ‘stop the steal’, which you call delusional, is to delegitimize Biden and Kamala, precisely because we all know they stole the election. The left’s four years of delegitimatizing Trump is going to look like child’s play when Red states completely ignore DC. They’ll do so with some statements claiming that Biden cheated, and therefore, we don’t recognize his executive orders. Expect noncompliance, court battles, and claims of state sovereignty. The good news is that hopefully the Biden presidency will be the beginning of restricting the power of the executive branch.
You can bet voters in Illinois resent putting Pritzker in office now.
