The first informed vote for Illinois Governor since covid, and just a little over 4k through yesterday have early voted in DuPage County. How can any serious person say Illinois still has any chance.

I listened to parts of the GOP Governor/Senate debates last night on AM 560. I thought all the candidates did well, except for Chlebek and Caparelli. I was also impressed by Denise Long, whom I hadn’t heard of.
Does anyone know if there is a transcript of the 3-hour debates?
Looking at Ms. Long’s website, I see that she supports a “redirection of current minority-focused spending” toward blacks descended from slaves. I support “colorblindness” and moving forward in race relations, so I can’t support her.

Bailey, by not showing up for this event, seems to be writing off Chicago. What Bailey doesn’t understand though elections are about votes and Chicagoland has the votes. Without Chicagoland’s votes he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hades the way I see it and I can’t understand why he doesn’t recognize this. Should he get the nomination we will no doubt get 4 more years of Pritzker making me wonder at times if behind closed doors if he is simply a Pritzker plant designed to throw the election.
Bailey doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell regardless, no-one wants to see a two-time looser.
We need a governor that backs 287(g) and second amendment protection eliminating all this PICA nonsense.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

Salute to your level of attention to the elections. Unfortunately, we have not yet found any transcript.
Thank you, Mark.
