Rich Miller: Property tax relief scant in Bears stadium bill, analysis shows – Chicago Sun-Times

"Again, kudos to the House for passing a Bears/megaprojects bill. It wasn’t easy by any means. As with the Senate’s mass transit bill last year, it was one of those 'whatever it takes' tasks. And it was a good time for House Speaker Emanuel 'Chris' Welch to start conditioning his members to vote for some tough bills as the session progresses. On all that, Welch succeeded."

“Chris” Welch is another guy like Pritzker who is deeply concerned with the financial plight of the Illinois private-sector working families.

Democrats constantly say they’re all for property tax reduction, yet show me a single reduction anywhere that has taken place. At least not for homeowners, special interests, yes.

No matter how you slice and dice it giving new tax handouts to one organization can not provide for tax cuts for others in Illinois because, like it or not, only spending cuts will implement a path for lower property taxes in Illinois.
