I didn’t realize people with no stake in the district could speak at the school board meetings. I watched the entire debacle of speakers under the assumption they were Deerfield residents… finding it unbelievable, I asked around and learned they were some out of town/state activists. Anyway, I was pretty shaken that only one mom spoke up for the girls.
So far, there is not a peep about this story in the Illinois press.
