Some Members Of Italian-American Community Want Columbus Statues Put Back On Display – CBS2 (Chicago)

“Put the statues back, because it’s history. It’s part of Chicago...there is no reason – no reason – that there can’t be dialogue, and we can discuss putting these statues back,” said Frank Coconate of the group Hands Off Christopher Columbus.

Italian Americans have just as much right to have parts of their history remember and commemorated just as any group does in the United States. If these monuments were offensive to you…don’t look at them, but it isn’t fair that one mob group and BLM should dictate how the rest of society will live.

The statues will never be put back. Lori hates Italian-Americans. Lori, Sophia King and the Grant Park Advisory council agreed to have the statues removed because the domestic terrorist organization blm wanted it and they all gave into the mob. The statues will never be returned because the terrorists are running Chicago. The statues are gone forever. Blm rules not the rule of law.

If course you are, you are a supporter of blm which is a domestic terrorist Marxist organization that wanted the statues removed. So our elected officials who are anti American gave in. You are an anti American follower of mob rule and not democracy.

I know exactly what you are. And you are someone who has given into the domestic terrorist organization blm because these losers wanted the statues removed so lori and others gave in. Little does Lori know this cost her her political future.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
