This was written before Putzger announced the cheese factory up north was adding 50 jobs. So the facts may be muddled
If you factor in taxes, it is even lower. Not going to change anytime soon. The unfunded pension obligations is like trying to swim with cement shoes on.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
