It’s all imaginary. You all like being the biggest losers. Why else would you stay? If it was intolerable, you would leave. So find the nearest bench and bend over for your next round of “civic improvements” courtesy of the democrats.

Per Visual Capitalist ( a more reliable source ),IL residents rank 11 out of the 50 states for most lifetime credit debt at about 400 K/ resident. The highest is about 450K and the lowest is about 325K.

Highest taxes and still broke and in debt up to their A$$. Some of the worst education system in the country. Roads that are poor, bridges that are poor. Police may not show up if you call them. Home of some of the most arrogant public sector workers in the Nation. Businesses and people are fleeing to any state but Illinois. Very little future opportunities for HS graduates but of the criminal nature. This is a toilet being flushed.

Waiting to hear why any resident would be unaware of IL being highest taxed state and why they are comfortable with status quo. Don’t just downvote comment, explain it.

Taxistan has;

  • Sky high taxes,
  • Massive unfunded liabilities,
  • Terrible weather 6 months of the year,
  • Unmatched corruption, and
  • Crime galore

Why would anyone want to leave?!!

Don’t forget about the Camp Fire tax the State Legislature is considering. An actual fee paid to the state each time you light a camp fire or light your little fire pit in your own back yard. Incredible.
