Accountability has to be spread across the country, state and city and with the migrants, as well as the countries they are fleeing from. We can’t all say, ‘Not in our backyards.’ But by the same token, we should be better prepared for this human crisis.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
