As Illinois school districts transition back to in-class instruction, a new study shows that classrooms don’t pose as big of a risk in spreading the virus as previously thought. “I believe it was extremely important to try to define better what the real risk factors are for children and COVID transmission,”said Dr. Charlotte Hobbs, professor of pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
