NBC is such a hack organization. Who really cares what some random parent has to say. Why is only one parent supporting this nonsense even quoted? What about the other side? How many parents object to this grooming? How many parents, other than this one parent, agree with this outrageous curriculum? I feel dumber for reading this NBC article.
But school just started. What exactly has she taught her students this year in such a short time? And what/how did she teach last year? Wondering if she is a wannabe with no actual woke classroom creds.
If I were the D41 supe, I’d be calling the D45 supe ASAP. See if she has a history of going off-curriculum. So many questions here.
Before Lauren Crowe deleted her Linkedin profile, I noticed she had worked one year in D45 before moving to D41 and I’m pretty sure it was her first year teaching. Thought it was unusual that a new teacher would switch school districts so soon, but whatever. That would make this her second year as a full-time teacher. If she has only one year of teaching under her belt, has she even had enough time to teach any of this? School year just started.
