Dabrowski, former president of Wirepoints and former Republican gubernatorial candidate, said if the Bears is such an important institution to protect, the same urgency should apply to the population that is leaving at the same rate. The Bears are leaving because Illinois makes it hard to operate a business. People are leaving for the same reason.

Ted you and Mark should join them leaving. The both of you have tried to make Illinois fiscally responsible and things have only gotten worse, much worse. Throw in the towel and go somewhere else where you can actually make a positive impact.

Nobody treats it as a crisis because the powers that be know that they can continue to hammer the resident slaves who stay, as long as they want to. The majority of Illinoisans are supine spineless wimps who are perfectly happy being abused as a long as they can watch sports and have a beer. Bread and circuses. The powers that be acknowledge no crisis because for them there is none.
