Pastor Reginald Sharpe Jr. of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church on the South Side has made it clear his church will not be opening its doors anytime soon. “We’re all trying to live and exist. While we can’t have church traditionally, we can still have church consistently.”
Jesus dies on the cross. Countless Christian martyrs have died horrible deaths at the hands of Romans and others. Christians are this very day being killed by Muslims, many areas of the Middle East are now free of Christians. Plus the unspeakable suffering of the Jews throughout history. This cowardly “pastor” is afraid to worship because of a virus and a tyrant’s illegal threats? If this coward was alive during the Roman Empire there would be no Christianity today

Methinks the pastor is letting personal politics cloud his message.
