"Now, just over two months out from Election Day and weeks from early voting commencing, Illinois Republicans may need to hope for a course correction on the national climate. This would mean that the post-Dobbs effect of ginned up Democratic enthusiasm wears off and voters turn their attention to kitchen table issues like high gas prices."

The Democrats are drinking their own kool-aid with the abundance of articles like this in the weeks before the election. It’s really just a coordinated psyop, that every publication is doing at the same time, to rally Democrats to vote and to demoralize Republicans. But everyone in the know understands how dire things are. Joe Biden knows things are so bad that he’s giving a national speech tomorrow declaring that MAGA Republicans (75,000,000 voters in 2020) are a threat to Democracy. I would LOVE to see Biden give the speech without a teleprompter/cues cards and notes. Then it will be worth watching and recording.

He went off script the other day and started telling stories about black areas of Baltimore having the highest crime rates but the best basketball in the state. Of course the legacy old school media doesn’t report on that but there are clips of the insane comments all over the internet.

I’m normally demoralized voting in the once great state of illinios. But I still go vote. Now and then there’s a win.
