This approach to spending tax dollars in this way through NGO’s, is fraught with opportunity for corruption and money laundering. The state of Illinois has no business spending tax payer money (they don’t have) for these purposes. Springfield doesn’t produce anything, they don’t make money, their money power is what they take from us and for them to waste it this way is criminal.
My beef is the “Catholic” organizations that get federal money to facilitate illegal immigration.

Nobody talks about the fact that millions of migrants could not have made the trek to the border without help from the NGOs every step of the way. Our tax dollars not only supported them once they got here, our tax dollars paid for them to get here in the first place.
And, God willing, our tax dollars will pay for their removal. “Legal immigrants” are the worst of them all!

My folks were definitely not here legally but I was born right here in Chicago. Not sure why so many folks are offended by that fact these days but what can you do.
In that case ltt your parents are criminals who should have been jailed and deported a long, long time ago. I look forward to ICE finally catching up to them, and to the Supreme Court doing the right thing and revoking your undeserved citizenship, as well.

America loves legal immigrants. Criminal illegal aliens are thieving scum who will be deported ASAP. The phrase “migrants” is an orwellian doublespeak propaganda lie trying to equate the two. One group vermin and the other group Americans.
Respectfully disagree, at least regarding your last sentence. Legal immigrants still put a stain on our culture and way of life. The only difference is that they can afford a lawyer to help them con their way through the system. Real Americans, such as myself, reject any distinction or shades of gray on the matter. An enemy is an enemy, and immigrants are the enemy.

My hope is that a sufficient number of Catholics realize what the church is doing and adjust their charitable giving accordingly.
It’s an absolute scandal how our donations have help facilitate the invasion.
