“Think-tanks” (pl)? ILEPI and the Project for Middle Class Renewal are joined at the hip. I’m pretty sure the author of this study, ILEPI’s Gigi Gigstad, is ILEPI’s Frank Manzo’s daughter. And Frank Manzo collabs all the time with Robert Bruno, who works for the UIUC’s School of Labor and Employer Relations, which is spear-heading the aforementioned Project for Middle Class Renewal. Keeping it all in the family.
Anyways, what’s the over/under for when 1IL picks this up. I think their marketing contract with the unions guarantee spin in 48 hours or less.

We as a country need to encourage families and child rearing. But forcing IL to offer this benefit on a state level, rather than on a federal level, is uncompetitive for IL. It also doesn’t help that IL is the abortion capital of the midwest.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
