U.S. Rep. Darin LaHood wants the war in Iran to wind down, doesn’t think ICE in airports is ‘the right approach’ – WGLT (NPR at ISU)

LaHood has voted several times to advance a bill aimed at reinforcing citizenship requirements in voter registration. “From my perspective, requiring I.D. to vote, I think, is fundamental to the protection of our democracy and making sure people have faith in our electoral system,” he said. “As you know, you need an I.D. to buy a 6-pack of beer. You need an I.D. to rent a car. You need an I.D. to get on an airplane.”

Darin LaHoodlum reaches for his bona fides as a member of the Illinois Combine, offering his services as a ‘Democrat Lite’ political animal. What’s next, LaHoodlum? An endorsement for JB the Hutt as Governor? Milquetoast Illinois Republicans suck at their jobs, hence their irrelevance. LaHoodlum is trying to play to the Useless Chicago Media, a tactic that never works since they will never ever abandon their advocacy for the Democrat Party.

Way to go, LaHoodlum. You played yourself.

LaHood would do well to remember whom is holding up the Voter Act, causing transportation agencies to work without pay and necessitating the presence of ICE at airports.
