Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I feel bad that the pay these administrators are not getting a 7 figure salary’s. I’m sure the donors can give more to make this happen. The donors never will never run out of money to give to this wonderful project. Oh and the tax payer too.

Clearly the majority of the voting people in Illinois are morons. To have this level of hypocrisy staring them in the face, the absurdity of democrats statements about focus on “working families”, free healthcare and all the other give-a-way prOgrams that are their mantra. Clearly, these people are fleecing this project and getting rich doing it. The people of the state of Illinois were taxed to pay for the infrastructure of this project, some $350M if memory serves. There’s nobody to vote for and Republicans consistently sell out the public. Don Tracy pissed away funds for the Republican party. Dan Profit built the Bailey Frankenstein brand. Bad actor commenters here make sure to demoralize and convince people the situation is hopeless. If we could get rid of Proft and Tracy, the situation would improve substantially.
