As usual, the entire thing was a charade to hand people some expense budgets for a while and count on people having short memories and forgetting about the whole thing.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
